IMPORTANT DETAILS ON HOW TO USE THIS HOMEWORK SITE EFFECTIVELY
1) For more information about this course, go to pembrokeacademysocia.wix.com/civics

3) Under the "Plans" section for each week, the title is hyperlinked over to the actual lesson (with handouts, assignments, readings, Essential Questions, videos, etc...)
4) You need to find a newspaper/magazine article that is relevant to an issue from our Civics class, read it, and complete the Civics Current Events Sheet. (Link to Blizzard Bag Page & Link to Current Event Sheet PDF)
5) In order to see all the lessons from the semester, go to the Planbook: Civics page.
Create a one-sided & handwritten review sheet that you can take into the semester 1 final with you (it must be in your own words and fit onto an 8.5x11 sheet of paper) - You may stop work at 30 minutes.
OR
Your assignment is to read an article about America and complete the current event form that goes along with it. You may choose any school-appropriate article, just make sure that it was written after November 30, 2017. I will be available by email throughout the day (aparkinson@sau53.org). You may either submit the assignment via email, via the form I gave you in class, or via the google form on the Blizzard bag page - https://goo.gl/forms/gUEp6NqJh6RlV86U2 - (there is a link on the “weekly plans” page AND at the bottom and in the menu of the main page), or by bringing in a hard copy the next day on notebook paper. Please remember that we only get credit for the day if you all do this activity, so please don't be the person that messes it up for everyone.
